'The last few years have been reflective for me. Music has taught me a lot as an artist, especially as someone who has always considered it to be a part of my soul. It inspires, motivates, and strengthens me. I felt a strong desire to rearrange things and put all those years of learning into something that would allow me to embody and embrace myself more fully.
I am elated to reintroduce myself as “Nuevayu” (Nu-vaayu), which translates to “new wind” derived from Spanish and Sanskrit. It symoolizes fresh winds of change that mesh with an artist's developing perspective.
